Central European University Krisztina Túry guest lectureAs a Hungarian Fulbright Grantee, Ms. Túry attended the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University during the academic year of 2012/2013. She was guest lecturer for the Department of Public Policy’s course on Public Management (Professor Jókay) She spoke on non-profit management, with special focus on issues concerning government contracting. Ms. Túry explained the convoluted process of government subcontracting as well as the difficulties small NGO-s face compared to ones substantially larger in size when handling public and/or private projects. The class also discussed two previously assigned case studies in order to gain better perspective of the non-profit world.
