Meet the Returned Hungarian Fulbrighters of AY 2014-2015
Every year the Fulbright Commission organizes a conference to enjoy presentations of returned Hungarian Fulbrighters about their experience in the US. The 1st Conference for the Hungarian grantees of AY 2014-2015 took place on Thursday, February 4, 2016 between 2 pm – 8 pm, with a reception and networking event at 6 pm. 10 grantees presented on professional, cultural and personal aspects of their Fulbright experience in the US. The language of the event was English.
The 2nd Conference for the Hungarian grantees of AY 2014-2015 took place on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 where another 11 grantees presented.

Educatio Fair 2016
The 16th Educatio International Education Fair, January 21-23, 2016 is the biggest education professional exhibition in Central-Europe. Nearly 30,000 visitors: students and people intending to study, educators, educational institution directors and decision-makers visited the exhibition over 3 days. Fulbright EducationUSA and American Corner staff promoted U.S. higher education among 150 other exhibitors.

Book donation to the Academy
On January 15 Michele G. Shedlin (’12 University of Szeged) handed over two more 18th century books from her great-grandfather, Vilmos Goldzieher’s collection to István Monok, Director of the Library and Information Centre of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
