Educatio Fair 201313th Educatio International Education Fair, January 18-19, 2013 is the biggest education professional exhibition in Central-Europe. Nearly 30,000 visitors: students and people intending to study, educators, educational institution directors and decision-makers visited the exhibition over 2 days. Fulbright EducationUSA staff with Jason Halleck, Vice Consul, U.S. Embassy promoted U.S. higher education among 200 other exhibitors.

U.S. Fulbright student at Csányi Foundation

Vajra Alaya-Maitreya lectureOn January 10, 2013 Vajra Alaya-Maitreya (’12 University of Szeged) and her friend Joe Vigorito visited the Szeged Community Center in order to meet Csányi students aged 12-16 years participating in the Foundation’s Talent Development Program. An alumna of Mills college were she studied vocal performance and musicology, Vajra put together a presentation on the history of popular music in the U.S. over the last century.

On April 10, 2013 James W. Oberly (’12 Károli Gáspár University) visited the Csányi Foundation.

Thank You Fulbright

Thank You Fulbright is an international campaign that was done for the first time in 2012. Over a two-week period, more than 1,300 Fulbrighters (among them Reinhold Hill ’04 University of Debrecen) submitted a thank you letter addressed to 138 different ambassadors in Washington, DC.
