Fulbright Hungary says farewell to 27 new Fulbright grantees on their way to the USA during AY 2017-18!

Two Humphrey Fellows, two Scholars-in-Residence, 12 scholars and 11 students took part in a pre-departure orientation in Budapest on May 12th.

These students and scholars represent a diverse range of academic fields such as: Music History, Hungarian language and culture, Linguistics, Psychology, History, Criminology, American Literature, Astrophysics, Medical Research, Biology, Civil Engineering, Social Sciences, Math in Humanities, Education, International Relations, Computer Science, Law, Journalism, Cinema, Anthropology, Communications and Environmental Policy.

Their home and host universities and institutions are as diverse as their fields.

Our grantees will be concentrated on the East and West coasts, with strong representation in the Great Lakes as well.

Congratulations and we look forward to seeing you all of them back in Hungary one year from now!
