Hospitality Management Learning Modules
Dr. Peter Szende is an associate professor of the practice at Boston University School of Hospitality Administration, Boston, MA. He is currently completing a Fulbright Grant in Hungary and he is a visiting faculty member in the Department of Economic Geography and Tourism Competence Center at Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary.
Between February 21-22, Peter offered a two-day workshop on contemporary business practices and supervisory challenges in the hospitality industry to students at the Mathias Corvinus Collegium in Budapest.
On March 4th, 2014, Peter visited the Department of Tourism at the University of Pannonia in Veszprém. First, he delivered a lecture to students majoring in Tourism and Catering. After the lecture, Peter participated in the faculty meeting and provided with an overview of his new educational concept, the ‘Hospitality Management Learning Modules’.
On March 31, 2014, Peter visited the College of Commerce, Catering and Tourism at the Budapest Business School. He delivered a lecture to students specializing in Catering and Hotel Management about current challenges US food service managers face.
