Workshop in Budapest
 

The English Department of ELTE Teacher Training College is pleased to announce the

HUNGARIAN- AMERICAN
STUDENT WORKSHOP
March 17 – March 19, 2003

an ELTE – RUTGERS INTERCULTURAL CONFERENCE
on American and Hungarian cultural awareness within a project sponsored by the Fulbright Commission.

The two-year project aims at fostering active contacts between American and Hungarian college students. A group of 40 students at ELTE Teacher Training College, Budapest and at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey have been working on joint projects under the guidance and moderation of the project leaders in the respective countries. The project includes two workshops on selected topics, one at Rutgers, one in Budapest. The first conference in the framework of the project took place at Rutgers in May 2002. We are pleased to welcome three students from Rutgers.

Monday, March 17

Exhibition of books about America published in Hungary at the English Department. Display of the history of the project, including a selection of student comments from the Discussion Forum at the Conference Room.
