Clowns on the Horizon
On December 4, Megan Small (’14 Budapest Music Center) and her husband, Daniel, went to Letkés on the northern border of Hungary with Bohócok a Láthatáron (Clowns on the Horizon). Founded by Yvette Feuer (’01 Sarah Lawrence College), Bohócok a Láthatáron is a non-profit group of Hungarian actor-clowns whose mission is to bring joy to and develop the culture and life of impoverished and marginalized communities all over Hungary. Megan and Dan assisted the clowns with their educational activities using movement, painting, coloring, music and dance. Megan also taught the children the American dance, the Bunny Hop.
