About the workshop
The first half of the seminar provides a general overview of the exam, and tells participants what to expect from each of the test's four sections. During the second half, participants have the opportunity to take parts of a computerized sample exam, and write a TOEFL-style essay. Feedback on the essay section will be provided by the seminar leader, who teaches university-level courses in academic writing. This workshop is an excellent opportunity to gain experience practicing the speaking section with a personal computer and microphone to record responses.
The workshop will be in English, with 4-5 people per session.

During the second part of the program, participants will have the chance to gauge their skill level with practice drills. Workshop leader, who teaches university-level courses, will be available to provide assistance and feedback. Participants will also receive a packet of math concepts, and vocabulary-building and essay-writing strategies to continue their study at home.
The workshop will be held in English, with maximum 12 participants.

About the workshop
The workshop will provide a basic introduction to the test, which includes an overview of the three sections (verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing), and important test-taking strategies. The focus of this session will be methods to improve your verbal and analytical writing sections of the GRE exam. The quantitative section will not be focused on greatly. Participants will also receive a packet of vocabulary-building and essay-writing strategies to continue their study at home.
The workshop will be held in English, with maximum 12 participants, with an approximate one hour duration.
